Murphy had a pretty rough life until he ended up in a Paws Rescue foster home. He was rescued after he was found lying in the in the middle of the median on the highway. He had been hit by a vehicle and left to die. His rescuer was relieved to see Murphy wagging his tail as he approached. We believe that was Murphys way of saying, thank you for saving me, because at that point he could not move due to a broken pelvis and would have surely perished, alone and frightened, if help had not arrived. He has recovered from his injury and been treated for heartworms, neutered, vaccinated, and he hasnt stopped wagging his tail since day one! He seems profoundly grateful to everyone who has helped ensure he be given a second chance and he just knows in that big ole heart of his that in addition to getting another chance to live, someday he is going to find that special forever home and family as well!
